Where It All Began
Our story began in 2016 on the 7th floor of our college. We were in different groups of friends when one of Maria Ivy’s friends introduced Jose Marie to her. Maria Ivy happily started a conversation, while Jose Marie quietly listened—mostly because he couldn’t understand a word of Bisaya! Seeing an opportunity to help, Maria Ivy offered to teach him Bisaya… in exchange for Pancit Canton and C2. And apparently, that was a deal he couldn’t refuse.
After that day, Jose Marie started hanging out with Maria Ivy and her friends more often. What began as a simple introduction, a little language lesson, and a very important Pancit Canton and C2 arrangement slowly turned into a beautiful friendship—and eventually, a love story.
Neither of them knew it at the time, but that little introduction on the 7th floor was the beginning of their forever.
